Silver-toned jewellery reads differently from gold: cooler, more contemporary, and more at home with cotton and linen than with heavy silk. Styling notes

Oxidised silver against a plain cotton saree needs only one strong piece — either the earrings or the necklace, not both. Tribal and boho designs suit exhibitions, college wear and daytime events. For festivals, layer a hasli with a longer chain rather than adding a second necklace at the same length.
